Dr. Oladimeji Ogbara is a Chicago native who took an interest in the sciences from an early age. He began his academic studies at the University of Illinois, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and minored in Mathematics. After spending the next few years as an analytical chemist at Argonne National Laboratories, he decided to go back to school and become a dentist, getting his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ogbara is committed to continuing his education throughout his career. That’s why he completed his Fellowship with the Misch International Implant Institute in 2017 and then achieved Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Our dental office is home to some of the most advanced technology in dentistry. Dr. Ogbara uses a 3D printer from Formlabs and a Glidewell.io mill to fabricate restorations and clear aligner trays. He also uses a soft tissue laser to perform periodontal surgery and many other delicate procedures. If you need digital scans, he’ll use an iTero 3D scanner or a cone beam CT scan to get the clearest view of your mouth and jaw. This combination of high-end technology allows our dentist and his team to utilize a fully digital workflow for every procedure.
